What do I need in order to donate a car of Wheels for Women?

In order to donate a car, you would need to have a lien-free title in your name that you sign off on.

What areas do Wheels for Women pick up in?

Wheels for Women will pick up cars within a 100-mile radius of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. If the distance is greater, the vehicle would need to be dropped off by the donor.

What are the program’s hours?

Monday-Friday 9-5 PM EST

How do tax deductions work?

The IRS allows you to determine the fair market value of your donated vehicle up to $500. If your vehicle sells for over $500, the IRS allows you to claim the selling price as a higher deduction. The car program strives to achieve the highest possible sale price for each vehicle donation to maximize the impact of your contribution. If your vehicle does sell for over $500, you will be contacted and informed of your new higher tax-deductible amount.
