Our founder has always had a drive to help others. He grew up watching Steelers games and remembers seeing the United Way advertisements which helped place a longing in his young heart to show love to others in need. The Wheels for Women Organization was born out of the tragedy that took place at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival. The founder and his wife, along with two of their closest friends, were present that life altering day on October 1, 2017.

All four of them survived the sniper’s bullets and were able to come back home by the grace of God. Having been a Christian already, the couple processed their emotions related to the tragedy by leaning into the Lord. By this, the Holy Spirit put it on the founder’s heart to do more with the time that he had been gifted.

Being involved in the transportation industry for years, and having donated vehicles in the past, he felt led to specifically assist women in need of transportation. Using that young heart eager to help others and a life defining tragedy, God spoke and Wheels for Women was established.
